Solid experience
Chelatec was created in December 2000 by medical scientists combining three decades of knowledge and experience in nuclear medicine with the aim of developing radiopharmaceuticals with diagnosis and therapeutic use in cancer research. The main research focus of the team behind the creation of Chelatec is radio-immunotherapy, a treatment method which combines an antibody with radioactive emitters for targeting and radiation of tumors.
After a decade within Nantes hospital premises, Chelatec has invested in new animal facilities and laboratories in a controlled area on the site of the Arronax cyclotron in Saint-Herblain (Metropolitan district of Nantes France).
